My name is Matt Nolan and I am a creative noise maker maker. I make metal percussion musical instruments (mostly). I have a business making both off-the-shelf and bespoke instruments for orchestras, percussionists, drummers, composers, all sorts of people and organisations from all over the world.

Usually, I work alone, in my small, windowless workshop hidden away under the railway line in Bath, England, UK. Sometimes I work in teams, usually cross-disciplinary and often international, on cool/crazy* projects (*delete as applicable).

This blog will present some of the – hopefully! – more interesting things I’ve worked on. Things on the fringe…

  1. Dear Mr. Matt Nolan.

    A home page was seen.
We’re playing Berlioz Symphonie fantastique in Bell Leeds by an orchestra of a junior high school. I’m looking for a bell made from a bass tubuler bell for it.
Please tell me your price when making, and a due date to Japan.
